My new toy…

after i received my tax refund this year i decided to spoil my self and bought me a pen tablet for my computer.

here it is

and next to my laptop for a size reference the tablet is 10inx6in and i thought it was going to be small its good thing i didn’t get the bigger one i was looking at.

im hoping after i get use to using this thing my art will get better but its weird using this. also im trying to make my art less complex by not trying to get so much into detail. my problem it takes me so long to do art because i get so into the detail it take me forever to get it done most of the time i just stop in the middle of it and never finish and thanks to a storm couple years back that took out mom and dad storage shed most of my original drawings ive done have been destroyed so i decided its time to start over trying to learn to dumb down my art id alot harder to do and not being able to use the tablet to its full potential is a challenge too.

get this movie some how buy it, pirate it, rent it, whatever you must get it and watch it… then you need to to watch it again 5 times. if you have any appreciation to music you will like this film. not only is the movie good it has an outstanding musical sound track! why wasn’t this film in the Oscars?!!! it deserves at least two for the sound track alone. “August Rush” tells the story of a charismatic young Irish guitarist (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and a sheltered young cellist (Keri Russell) who have a chance encounter one magical night above New York’s Washington Square, but are soon torn apart, leaving in their wake an infant, August Rush, orphaned by circumstance. Now performing on the streets of New York and cared for by a mysterious stranger (Robin Williams), August (Freddie Highmore) uses his remarkable musical talent to seek the parents from whom he was separated at birth.

A week in review…

well ive been busy alot lately but this last week has been a bitch! .. although tomorrow ill be free for atleast 4 days I’m going on vacation to go visit two of my best friends from college, Matt and Mindi, so ill be heading out tomorrow and wont return for 4 days ….WooHoo freedom!

also earlier this week ive been tweaking with me windows xp trying to come up with somthing to install on my portable gaming rig and i came across a tutorial to make what called tiny xp ..i could have just downloaded a iso of tiny xp but that illegal and i have a legal copy of windows xp just sitting here so i sat down and started tweaking xp and wow i must say im surprise this thing is even running

and its only using 50mb of memory talk about the ultimate gaming setup!

the tinyxp doesn’t make up for the crappy week ive had last night was the worse at work i had grumpy customers and then while stocking i ripped my pants, yeah it was just a wonderful day thats why im looking forward to the 4 day weekend/vacation that starts tomorrow!
